What You’ll Do:
Write daily news updates, match previews, post-game analysis, feature stories and opinion pieces in your assigned sport.
Monitor live events, results, and trending topics to generate timely content.
Contribute a specific number of articles daily as per assigned editorial calendar.
Collaborate with editors and content strategists for headline optimization and SEO integration
Pitch original story ideas relevant to your sport and audience.
Maintain accuracy, neutrality, and journalistic integrity in all pieces.
What They’re Looking For:
1–3 years of writing experience in digital sports media.
Strong knowledge of your sport (NHL/Tennis), including players, teams, history, and current season storylines.
Clean, engaging & error free writing with a knack for meeting deadlines.
SEO and WordPress familiarity is a plus.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced digital newsroom.
