Following a home defeat against Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be eying an immediate return to winning ways when they take on UP Warriorz at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday evening. The match no-8 of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season is scheduled to start at 07:30 PM (IST).

Team Form and Match Preview

After the first six matches, which were played in Vadodara, the WPL 2025 season moved to Bengaluru, where the first match was between RCB-W and MI-W. The home fans were flocked the stadium and were making noise which forced some players to cover their ears. It was Ellyse Perry’s 81-run innings that took the atmosphere inside the stadium to a whole new level. But RCB-W couldn’t finish the game on a high as Mumbai chased down the target in 19.5 overs, thanks to quickfire innings from Nat Sciver-Brunt (42 off 21), Harmanpreet Kaur (50 off 38) and Amanjot Kaur (34 off 27). It was RCB’s first defeat of WPL 2025 season.

It was a completely different story for the UP Warriorz who scripted their first win of the current WPL season following a 33-run win over Delhi Capitals. At the heart of this win was Chinnelle Henry who scored 62 runs off just 23 balls as UP posted 177/9 in 20 overs. In reply, DC were bowled out for 144 runs in 19.3 overs.

RCB-W vs UP-W Dream11 Prediction: Pitch Report and Weather Conditions

Pitch Report: It’s a high-scoring pitch at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. It’s a flat surface with no or little movement for the pacers. Fast bowlers on this pitch rely more on their skill and the line and length. Spinners can be more effective but batsmen do end up dominating in most duels. Fast outfield and short boundary line also help batters.

Dream11 Combination: Since this is a high-scoring pitch at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, picking more batsmen and all-rounders should be the preferred combination for Dream11 Fantasy gamers.

Weather Report: Weather should be clear on Monday February 24, 2025 with no chance of rain in Bengaluru. Humidity level could go as high as 42% while wind speed should remain below 20 km/h.
