Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 42 of IPL 2025 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 24. Yashasvi Jaiswal led the batting for RR with courtesy of a 47-ball 75. He belted 10 boundaries and two sixes during his time in the middle. Riyan Parag (30 off 22) and Dhruv Jurel (35* off 23) played fine knocks for the Royals.

In pursuit of 174, RCB openers Philip Salt (65 off 33) and Virat Kohli (62* off 45) stitched a 92-run partnership for the first-wicket. Devdutt Padikkal played an unbeaten 40 alongside Virat in a 83-run partnership for the second wicket. Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the match by nine wickets and will look to replicate the same performance on Thursday.

Today’s RCB vs RR toss update

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to field first. Stand-in skipper Riyan Parag mentioned that the Royals have made one change against RCB. Afghan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi replaces Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana in the side.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru would have chosen to bowl first had they won the toss. They are going unchanged into this game.
