Sai Sudharsan top-scored with 63 runs off 41 balls at a strike rate of 153.65. Shubman Gill (38) and Jos Buttler (39) also contributed with the bat for the Titans.
In response, Mumbai Indians could score only 160 runs for the loss of six wickets. Tilak Varma scored 39 runs and Suryakumar Yadav played a 48-run knock. With the ball, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna picked up a couple of wickets each. Gujarat Titans won the match by 36 runs.
