Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 40th match of IPL 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. LSG are fifth in the IPL 2025 points table with 10 points, winning five out of eight matches. DC, on the other hand, are second with five wins and two losses from seven outings.
Lucknow Super Giants head into this fixtures on the back of a marginal two-run victory over Rajasthan Royals. They failed to chase 180 runs, despite some brilliant knocks from Yashasvi Jaiswal (74 off 52), debutant Vaibhav Suryavanshi (34 off 20) and skipper Riyan Parag (39 off 26).
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals had a dream start to their IPL 2025 campaign, winning four matches in a row. They have lost two matches and won a game in Super Over in their last three outings and will look to get back to winning ways on Tuesday. The Capitals lost their previous match against Gujarat Giants, who chased 204 runs with seven wickets.

Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first. Skipper Axar Patel mentioned that the Delhi-based franchise have made one change. Sri Lankan pacer Dushmantha Chameera will play in place of Mohit Sharma.
