Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 44 of the Indian Premier League 2025 on Saturday (April 26). The iconic Eden Gardens will host the match between the two teams.
The Knight Riders are placed seventh in IPL 2025 points table with six points from eight matches, having won three matches and lost five. The defending champions lost their previous IPL 2025 match by 39 runs against Gujarat Titans at Eden Gardens. KKR have have won one out of four matches at home, winning their only match at Eden Gardens against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 80 runs.
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings are fifth in the standings with 10 points, including five wins and three losses from eight outings. The Kings head into this encounter on the back of a seven-wicket loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Punjab Kings won the toss and have elected to bat first. Captain Shreyas Iyer mentioned that Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and Afghan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai will play today.
Kolkata Knight Riders skipper said that the hosts have made two changes for the fixture. Rovman Powell comes in for Moeen Ali and Chetan Sakariya replaces Ramandeep Singh.
