The English all-rounder will be unavailable for the IPL 2025 playoffs and will play the three ODI matches for his country. Mumbai Indians have roped in the services of Sri Lankan all-rounder Charith Asalanka for the remainder of the Indian Premier League.

Will Jacks had a decent outing in IPL 2025 with both bat and ball. He scored 233 runs from 13 matches at a strike rate of 135.47. The England player averages 23.30 and has a highest score of 53, which came against the Gujarat Titans on May 6.

With the ball, Jacks has picked up six wickets at an economy of 8.57. He has the best bowling figures of 2/14 this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The all-rounder picked up a couple of wickets against Lucknow Super Giants too.

Will Jack’s countryman Richard Gleeson has replaced him in the Mumbai Indians’ playing 11 as they take on Gujarat Titans in a bid for a place in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). Gleeson made his IPL debut last season with Chennai Super Kings and picked up one wicket from two matches. His bowling figures in his IPL career are 1/30 and 0/41.
