The 34-year-old player has belted 52 boundaries and 24 sixes during his time in the middle. He has eight catches and a couple of stumpings with the gloves on.

Kusal Mendis has replaced Jos Buttler in the playing 11 for Gujarat Titans as they face Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator clash of the Indian Premier League 2025. The Sri Lankan wicket-keeper will make his IPL debut today. He has scored 4718 runs in 172 T20 matches since 2015. The 30-year-old player heads into the IPL after representing Quetta Gladiators in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League.
