Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) notched up a sensational 110-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 68 of IPL 2025 on Sunday (May 25). The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi hosted the fixture.

Heinrich Klaasen-Travis Head power SRH to a mammoth total

Choosing to bat first, SRH were off to a flyer, with their opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. They stitched a 92-run stand in less than seven overs, before Sharma (32) was dismissed.

Thereafter, Heinrich Klaasen and Travis Head dominated the KKR bowling unit with their 83-stand. Klaasen went on to slam 105* off 39 balls, while Ishan Kishan hit 29 to take SRH to a third-highest IPL total of 278. Sunil Narine took two wickets for KKR.

SRH’s collective bowling effort crushes KKR

In response, SRH lost Quinton de Kock (9) early. Although, Sunil Narine (31) did well, the other batters couldn’t chip in with their contributions. In the end, Manish Pandey (37) and Harshit Rana (34) were significant contributors, as the Knight Riders were all-out for 168.

Harsh Dubey, Jaydev Unadkat and Eshan Malinga scalped three wickets apiece for the Sunrisers.
