Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 59 of IPL 2025. The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur will be hosting the contest, which will be of much significance for PBKS.

Changes expected in RR XI

The team’s regular skipper, Sanju Samson is expected to return after recovering from abdominal strain. He will replace Kunal Singh Rathore, who made his IPL debut in the last game.

Meanwhile, Jofra Archer will not be available for the side, as he is currently injured. Kwene Maphaka or Fazalhaq Farooqi could replace him in the XI.

The Punjab-based franchise are currently third in the points table, with seven wins in 11 games. With 15 points under their kitty, PBKS need one more win to confirm their qualification for the playoffs.

In their last outing (full game), the Shreyas Iyer-led side posted a mammoth 236-run total against Lucknow Super Giants, with Prabhsimran Singh (91) as the top-scorer. Then, Arshdeep Singh took three wickets to lead PBKS to a dominating 37-run win.

Changes expected in PBKS XI

Unfortunately, Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis will not be available for the side, as they have not returned to India yet. However, other overseas players like Azmatullah Omarzai and Marco Jansen will take the field.

Mitchell Owen might replace Inglis, while all-rounder Suryansh Shedge could replace Stoinis in the XI. Prabhsimran Singh will serve as the keeper for the side.
