Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s sensational knock helped Rajasthan Royals (RR) to secure a dominating victory over Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 47 of IPL 2025 on Monday (April 28). The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur hosted the exciting RR vs GT contest.
After being invited to bat first, the Titans were off to a sublime start with a 93-run stand between Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan (39). Thereafter, Gill continued his rich form by slamming 84 off 50 balls.
In the end, Jos Buttler (50*) was a chief contributor, as the Titans posted a strong 209-run total. Maheesh Theekshana was the pick of the bowlers for RR with two wickets.

In response, Yashasvi Jaiswal employed an aggressive intent like the earlier games, which infused confidence into Suryavanshi. The southpaw stunned the onlookers with a 28-run over against Ishant Sharma.
Suryavanshi raced to his fifty off 17 balls and set up the game perfectly for the home side. He then registered the second-fastest IPL century off 35 balls, before getting dismissed on 101 off 38 balls.
Jaiswal (70* off 40) and Riyan Parag (32* off 15) remained unbeaten to take RR past the finishing line with more than four overs to spare.

With their third win, RR retained their eighth spot in the IPL 2025 points table. Meanwhile, GT descended to the third spot with six wins in nine games.
