Punjab Kings (PBKS) prevailed over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 37 runs in Match 54 of IPL 2025 on Sunday in Dharamsala.
PBKS didn’t get off to a great start after being invited to bat first. They lost Priyansh Arya (1) in only the first over. However, Josh Inglis (30) played a counter-attacking knock, while Shreyas Iyer (45) produced another stunning display. Prabhsimran Singh (91) played a sensational knock to put the home side in a dominating position.
In the end, Shashank Singh (33*) was the chief contributor to take PBKS to a mammoth 236-run total. Akash Singh and Digvesh Rathi bagged two wickets each.
Then, Arshdeep Singh stunned the Super Giants by getting rid of the side’s top three inside the powerplay. Although, Rishabh Pant (18) tried well, he was dismissed by Azmatullah Omarzai.
Ayush Badoni (74) produced his best IPL knock and got support from Abdul Samad (45), they could not win the game for LSG. The visitors finished the game on 199/7.
