Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan helped Gujarat Titans (GT) complete a dominating victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 60 of IPL 2025 on Sunday in Delhi. With this win, the Titans are through to the playoffs.
KL Rahul’s century drives Capitals to a strong total
Invited to bat first, the Capitals lost their experienced Faf du Plessis (5) early. But, KL Rahul and Abishek Porel (30) stitched a breezy 90-run stand to hold an edge over the opposition.
Rahul continued to score runs with a positive approach and was well supported by captain Axar Patel (25). In the end, Rahul (112*) and Tristan Stubbs (21*) remained unbeaten, as the home side posted 199 on the board.
Shubman Gill – Sai Sudharsan maintain supremacy
Thereafter, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan were terrific yet again with their tactics, as the visitors garnered 59 runs in the powerplay. The duo was sensational in scoring runs all around the park and against all bowlers.
Sudharsan (108*) and Gill (93*) played terrific knocks to pave the way for GT to seal the chase with an over to spare.
