Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals Head to Head
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have been up against each other on 31 occasions in IPL. The Super Kings hold a slight edge over the Royals with 16 wins.
CSK and RR last clashed on March 30 in Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati this season. Invited to bat first, RR lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (4) early. However, Nitish Rana (81 off 36) joined hands with Sanju Samson (20) to stitch an 82-run stand for RR.
Thereafter, Riyan Parag (37) was the significant contributor to taking the Royals to 182-run total. Noor Ahmad, Matheesha Pathirana and Khaleel Ahmed took two wickets apiece for CSK.
In response, the Super Kings could not get a good start, losing Rachin Ravindra (0) in the first over. Although, Ruturaj Gaikwad (63) played an impressive knock, CSK lost the game by six runs. Wanindu Hasaranga was the wrecker-in-chief for RR with four wickets.
