India vs England ODI Series: The much-anticipated ODI series between India and England will start with the first match on February 06 in Pune. By the time this series wraps up, both teams will have a good idea of where they stand in terms of preparations for the ICC 2025 Champions Trophy.

Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team while Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabha Pant have also returned to the team. This will be their first outing for the country since the Border-Gavaskar Series which India lost 1-3.

After hitting a century in the 2nd innings of the first test match, Virat failed to get going, scoring only a combined 85 runs in the next seven innings. Rohit struggled even more as the Indian captains could manage only 31 runs across five innings and was dropped from the 5th test altogether.

But this will be a fresh start. The 50-over game certainly gets the best out of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. And the duo could do with a strong show in this series as both have come under a lot of scrutiny and criticism following a disastrous batting performance in the BGT trophy.
