The final match of the three-match ODI series between India and England will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The hosts are leading the series 2-0 courtesy of the four wickets win in each of the first two ODI matches.

India’s superstar batter is struggling for runs since hitting a century in the Perth test match in the Border-Gavaskar series. In fact, the former India captain has scored a combined 90 runs in 8 innings across Test and ODI matches. These numbers are nowhere near a player of Kohli’s stature.
So, in a sense, a lot is riding on the third ODI match for Team India despite Rohit Sharma’s team taking an unassailable lead in the series.
