Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 43rd match of the IPL 2025. The two South Indian teams will face each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 25. The Super Kings and SRH are 10th and ninth, respectively with four points each. Both teams have won two matches and lost six apiece.
CSK head into this contest following a nine-wicket loss against Mumbai Indians. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings scored 176/5 in 20 overs. Ayush Mhatre (32 off 15) and half-centuries by Ravindra Jadeja (53* off 35) and Shivam Dube (50 off 32) were amongst the runs for the Chennai-based franchise. Mumbai comfortable chased down the target with Ravindra Jadeja, picking up the only wicket in the second innings.
Meanwhile, SRH lost their previous fixture against Mumbai Indians (MI) by 7 wickets. After losing four wickets for 13 runs, Heinrich Klaasen brought things back on track with 71 runs off 44 runs. Abhinav Manohar contributed 43 runs for Hyderabad. MI chased down the target comfortably with Rohit Sharma (70) and Suryakumar Yadav (40* off 18) being the leading run-scorers.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. Kamindu Mendis replaces Eshan Malinga in the playing 11 for SRH.
Chennai Super Kings have made a couple of changes, says skipper MS Dhoni. Dewald Brevis and Deepak Hooda will replace Rachin Ravindra and Vijay Shankar in the playing 11. They also have Sam Curran replacing Jamie Overton in the team.
